Later, he worked for Mark Lynn near Weatherford and in Palo Pinto county, on Ironi Creek, another big cattleman of his day. He was Foreman of the SET Ranch (woned by Geo. Simpson) in Stephens County - of the same partnership as the SSS brand (Scruggs - Simpson & Scruggs) Stephens Co. firm. In 1937 they moved to Breckenridge where the family remains.

Although Mrs. Haliburton was a member of the Church of Christ, Mr. Haliburton took an active part in his church, Presbyterian, was a Democrat and very interested in politics. Parents: HALIBURTON.
